Dead man on a Holiday

Composed by: Azm

It wasn't easy,
City filled with chaos;
said it was a sin,
aware of his wrong dos
he was struck by guilt.

He prayed for death for the unholy crime,
but got murdered in installments from time to time;
the weapons remained the same,
only the killers had new names.

Chained behind bars he lay,
like a dead man on a holiday.
He did breathe,
but had lost his soul,
often at his death rendezvous,
he was seen obscure.
his pulse struck but his soul had died,
the guilt within was the one to hide;
how he longed to let death take his hand,
quench his breathe and join the dark land!!

  1. After a long time, I found something here.
    And as usual, you wrote it nicely. A STORY.
