Obnoxiously magnified
through an eagle's eye
with scars revealed
and wounds amplified

He was cursed
he was thrashed
carrying a dead soul
he lay aghast

Then,
like a phoenix awakened
beneath the sparkling spirit
as crystalline carbon
and with no limits

Now,
he breathes a fresh start
bruises due to chafes
he puts on with pride
like a painter's art
